应家长们对STEM 教育的要求,大纽约华夏加开以下课程:
a) 火花思维数学Spark Math
该课程通过有趣的互动课件,以孩子们更容易理解的方式,将知识融入生活,全面提升了学生的课堂参与度和学习兴趣。不仅能让孩子轻松掌握新知识,而且还注重发展孩子的表达能力,通过课上与老师、同学的互动以及课下的讲解练习,使孩子能够有逻辑地思考,自信地表达。该课程将对标美国CCSS的主要核心内容,通过形象化的教学方法,辅助孩子更好的理解与应用;在课堂上以孩子为中心,会有更多的时间和机会让孩子尝试探索、讨论分享,给孩子之间互动的学习环境, 辅以课堂互动游戏和各种有趣的学具, 让孩子活动起来,在游戏中做练习,提升孩子的兴趣和学习体验,帮助孩子理解核心步骤,多种方式应用题目的方法,辅助提示学习效果。
Experience math like never before with our game-based program through our fun and engaging math activities, we help children build the confidence they need to succeed in math and beyond. Spark Math uses interactive courseware to create a more interesting and accessible way for children to learn mathematics. The program’s approach integrates mathematical concepts into everyday life scenario through engaging and interactive methods, resulting in an improvement of students’ participation and enthusiasm for learning in the classroom. Spark Math also focuses on developing children’s ability to express themselves. Through online class interaction and exercises after class, Spark Math helps children to think logically and express themselves confidently.

b) 智能机器人 Robotics
智能机器人课程是为培养美国少年儿童追寻当代人工智能梦想,重点培养学生创新思维与动手能力。课程将高度交叉学科的智能机器人在人工智能的应用,普及到青少年儿童之中。该课程的特点是:趣味性,娱乐性,科学性,智能与实践相结合,将人工智能学科初步注入到青少年儿童之中。我们将开设2 个班级的课程,一个课程是美国7-9 年级学生的课程,学生可以学习到人工智能智能机器人的组成,简单的机器人应用编程及动手组安装机器人和应用。另一个课程是美国1-3 年级学生的课程,通过该课程的学习,使得小学生基本了解这门技术以及其发展状况,为今后对人工智能机器人的兴趣打下一定的基础。针对儿童兴趣的特点,课程内容采取趣味性和动手活动,吸引学生积极参加。 课程内容进行简化教学,重点培养学生兴趣和动手能力。
Introduction to artificial intelligence-intelligent robotics courses. The intelligent robotic courses we offer are to cultivate American children’s dreams of pursuing contemporary artificial intelligence, and focus on cultivating students’ creative thinking and hands -on ability. Cultivate reserve forces for the development of artificial intelligence. Intelligent robots with high cross -disciplinary disciplines are popular among artificial intelligence applications to young children. The characteristics of this course are: fun, entertainment, scientific,
intelligent and practical, and inject artificial intelligence disciplines into young children. We will offer two classes. A course is a course of 7-9 students in the United States. Students can learn the composition of artificial intelligence intelligent robots. Simple robot application programming and hands-on group installation robots and applications. Another course is a course for grades 1-3 in the United States. Through the study of this course, primary school students basically understand the technology and their development status, and lay a certain foundation for the future interest of artificial intelligence robots. For the characteristics of children’s interest, the course content adopts interesting and hands -on activities to attract students to actively participate. The content of the curriculum is simplified, focusing on cultivating students’ interest and hands -on ability.
