3/20 本周日讲座：Voting 101

时间: 10:00-10:40am; 地点: B building cafeteria

The voting 101 is mainly to educate people where and how to register, when and where to vote at both local and national levels. The goal is to encourage more people to participate and vote in this election year.

讲员简介：William Kaung is a lifetime member of the Westchester & Hudson Valley Chapter of The Organization of Chinese Americans (OCA). He is currently the Vice President – Advocacy and a member of the chapter’s board. He also served as the Vice President of Finance and member of the Executive Council of the OCA National (2015 – 2016). OCA is a national organization advocating for the rights of Asian Pacific Islander (APIA) rights in USA. He served on the Executive Committee of the Hudson Valley Community Coalition (HVCC), a coalition of the Not-for-Profit Advocacy groups in the lower Hudson Valley for Comprehensive Immigration reform, NYS Intergeneration Networking Group (NYSIgN) and We Are Westchester, a coalition of the Not-for-Profit Advocacy groups in Westchester County.

春季家长俱乐部的open enrollment 将于3/20 结束。自3/21起，如有注册问题，请Email至registration@hxgny.org。

2016海外华裔青少年“中国寻根之旅”夏令营
——山东·烟台营大纽约华夏中文学校

今年夏天，我校与山东侨办、烟台侨办再度合作，有我校独立组团，参加7/24至8/5山东烟台夏令营，由我校老师带队。夏令营安排如下:
活动时间：2016年7月24日—8月5日
活动地点：烟台、济南
活动参与对象：出生日期在1998年6月1日至2004年6月1日之间的华夏学生、助教
费用：夏令营期间学生食宿行、参观及保险费用由烟台组织方承担。国际往返交通费用和营期以外的费用请营员家庭自行负担。每名参加夏令营学生缴纳报名费$200.00. 费用缴纳后，如因营员自行取消行程，费用将不返还。

这是我校第一次独立组团参加国内夏令营，让孩子们可以在学校老师的带领下，和熟悉的朋友在一起，相聚蓬莱仙境，领略齐鲁文化。
