On-site Registrations Open to All Families 上午10:00 AM – 12:00 PM 将举行学校开放日。当天我们会现场注册答疑，为所有家庭服务。我们还安排了内容丰富的课程介绍，教材展示和校舍参观。大家将有机会与教师，学校管理人员，家长及学生交流，并从他们那里听到关于学校的第一手资料， 如课程设置，为孩子和家长，爷爷奶奶安排的活动等等。希望大家广为宣传，介绍各界朋友参加，让更多的家庭了解和走进华夏大纽约。

Our School Open House will be held on Saturday 9/7 from 10 am-12:00 pm at SUNY Purchase College campus. We will be there to assist with all registration-related questions, both to accept new registrations and to assist online registrations you already submitted.

There will be extensive displays of posters about our curriculum, teachers and activities. Parents can talk with school leaders, teachers and other parents to get first-hand experience about our school. They can leaf through textbooks, visit classrooms and gym facilities, and experience the community life here. It is a great opportunity to learn more about our school. Please spread the word and encourage anyone interested to attend this event.

Class parents neededHXGNY school is entirely run by volunteers, and class parents are essential to the volunteer team and the success of the school operation. Benefits include but are not limited to : exemption of classroom and hall monitor duty. Class parents responsibilities include but not limited to：
1) Distribute textbook on first-day of school-this Sunday!  Please come to the hall of your class building to pick up the textbooks 10 minutes before the class starts.
2) Facilitate school/teacher/parent communication
3) Organize teacher’s holiday and year-end gift
4) Assist teachers in school wide or class room activities
5) For pre-k to 3rd grade, schedule in-class parent rotation***Benefits:
1) Exempt from Parent-On- Duty rotation
2) First contact between school, teacher and parents
