The all-parents meeting of Spring 2012 was held Sunday Feb 5th. In education planning session, Education committee Chair Mr. Mark Yin introduced the draft of Education Committee Report, which summarizes research analyses on textbook, teaching methods and evaluation (教材,教法, 和评估). Education committee recommends the school opens 美洲华语和标准中文 for Grades 1-9 and 马立平for Grades 1-5. Teacher Ms Qianyun Li commented “the education plan is very necessary for the school. It can ensure the school’s education priorities to be consistent from term to term regardless who will be principal.” Ms Xu Jun, a parent whose children have used all three textbooks, shared her children’s learning experience in switching textbooks.
