语言课新教师 – 马立平三年级一班王玲玲
大家好！我是王玲玲老师。非常高兴在三十年之后，再一次站上小学的讲台。不同的是，这一次不是在中国，而是在美国。能够在异国他乡从事中文教学，为传播中华文化尽一份绵薄之力，我感到无比荣幸。
从师范毕业、研究生毕业至今的三十年里，我在国内既教过小学生，也教过大学生；曾在北京管理大型培训机构；来美国之前，还在上海从事了八年的文字编辑工作。一路走来，教学与文字始终是我热爱的事业。
在教学理念上，我始终相信，教育首先是对孩子的理解、尊重与陪伴。我热爱孩子，也十分重视家庭教育，善于从教育心理学的角度出发，关注孩子的情绪、兴趣与内在动力，因材施教，引导孩子自动自发地学习与成长，在被理解、被鼓励的环境中建立自信，爱上学习。
在业余生活中，我热爱阅读与旅游。不久前，我陪伴七十多岁的母亲，用一个多月的时间走遍祖国云南。这段旅程不仅让我更加深刻地体会到亲情的珍贵，也让我更加坚定：教育孩子，不仅要教知识，更要教做人。尊老爱老、感恩父母、珍惜陪伴，正是中华民族代代相传的传统美德。我也希望通过自己的言行，把这些价值观自然地传递给孩子们，让他们在学习中文的同时，学会关爱他人、敬重长辈，成为有温度、有根基的人。
在具体教学中，我会以字词为基础，结合孩子们的实际生活和中国传统文化中的小故事，激发学习兴趣，引导孩子们爱上中文、用好中文，在语言学习中理解文化，在文化体验中滋养心灵。
衷心感谢学校和各位家长给予我这次宝贵的机会。期待与孩子们一起，在中文的世界里共同成长。
文化课教师 – 趣味科学大／小班老师邹邗
邹邗 毕业于浙江大学和德国海德堡大学。早 期研究领域包括天体物理学、数据学 存储、光通信和显示器
邹邗2008开始参与华夏学校的教学曾在新泽西华夏中文学校 担任过击剑和体能老师， 后来开过SAT 物理。乐于辅导孩子学习，与孩子们分享学习经验。目前正在从事体外诊断设备的研发工作。把科学真正应用在改变生活的技术中。这些经历也让趣味科学课程设计更贴近现实、更有趣、更能激发学生的想象力。
拥有浙江大学光学工程学士学位，以及德国海德堡大学的天体物理学博士学位。听起来很“高大上”，但在华夏学校的 趣味科学 课堂上，邹邗 更像是一位带领大家探索世界的“科学冒险队长”。
自 2014 年起，邹邗 一直教授深受学生喜爱的 趣味科学 课程——一个让好奇心当家、想象力飞翔，而“为什么”是最重要词语的地方。课程面向 小班和大班的学生，内容涵盖从宇宙奇观到生活中的科学魔法，许多都是在普通学校里听不到的新鲜知识。
课堂内容会随着最新的科学突破不断更新，但有一件事始终不变：学生们总能亲手做实验、亲身体验科学的魅力。动手操作永远是课堂上最受欢迎的部分。
在 趣味科学 课堂里，没有“愚蠢的问题”——只有值得被提出的好问题。邹邗甚至希望学生们下课时带着比来时更多的疑问，因为真正的科学家从不停止好奇。
凭借扎实的光学与天体物理背景，以及对科学教育的热情，邹邗 带领学生们发现：科学不是枯燥的知识点，而是一种探索世界、勇敢思考、发现日常生活中隐藏魔法的方式
Zou Han graduated from Zhejiang University and Heidelberg University in Germany. Early research areas include astrophysics, data storage, optical communications, and displays
Zou Han began teaching at Huaxia School in 2008 and worked as a fencing and physical fitness teacher at Huaxia Chinese School in New Jersey, and later taught SAT physics. Be willing to tutor children and share learning experiences with children. He is currently engaged in the research and development of in vitro diagnostic equipment. Truly apply science to life-changing technologies. These experiences also make the design of fun science courses closer to reality, more interesting, and more stimulating students’ imagination.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in optical engineering from Zhejiang University and a doctorate in astrophysics from Heidelberg University in Germany. It sounds “tall”, but in the fun science class of Huaxia School , Zou Han is more like a “scientific adventure captain” who leads students to explore the world.
Since 2014, Zou Han has been teaching students’ beloved Fun Science course – a place where curiosity takes charge, imagination takes flight, and “why” is the most important word. Classes are aimed at both small and large classes, and cover everything from the wonders of the universe to the scientific magic of life, much of which is new knowledge that you won’t hear in ordinary schools.
The class content is constantly updated with the latest scientific breakthroughs, but one thing remains the same: students are always able to experiment and experience the charm of science firsthand. Hands-on is always the most popular part of the classroom.
In the Fun Science classroom, there are no “stupid questions” – just good questions that deserve to be asked. Zou Han even wants students to leave class with more questions than they always have, because real scientists never stop being curious.
With a solid background in optics and astrophysics, as well as a passion for science education, Zou Han led students to discover that science is not a boring knowledge point, but a way to explore the world, think bravely, and discover the hidden magic in everyday life. |
