自1971年起学习太极拳，师从陈氏太极拳大师雷慕尼、八极拳名家全运会冠军赵华舫。1976年起学习形意拳，师从著名武术家李德印。

现任中文学校折纸(Origami)教师。长期在华夏中文学校教授折纸，有十多年折纸教龄。喜爱折纸，剪纸和绘画艺术，深受学生家长喜欢。不少学生的折纸作品被OrigamiUSA录用，到儿童折纸年度展览 (每年展出世界各地孩子们的优秀的作品)。这个展览在各种社区,学校和图书馆巡回展出。

students’ origami models are selected by Origami USA to become the Origami by
Children (OBC) exhibit, an annual exhibition of outstanding origami by children
from around the world. The exhibit travels to the communities of the various
participants where it is displayed in local schools and libraries.
