What a successful event Sunday! Our children have put forth such an incredibly captivating performance. Congratulations to all!
A big shout out goes to our independent judges who have no kids in the contest and stayed for the whole contest: 何清, 刘颖，陈萌，Wendy Cheng, 田樑， 吴嘉骏， 何芳， 孙凌云, 许春川，吴水清。 Many volunteers have contributed tremendous amount of time and energy, can’t say enough thank you to all of you, especially the score keepers/assistants, their meticulousness and integrity is the keystone to this event’s success. 组织人： Zhendi Shi 施臻娣，Yiqiao Mao 毛怡乔 。
Top 4 winners from grade 1 to 3 will proceed to the Hua Xia 6-school Regional Final on 01/7/2018.

本周日 12/3 9:15am – 10:15am “寻根之旅”夏令营讲座
我校连续两年参加了国侨办为12岁以上华裔学生举办的“
For two consecutive years, our school participated in the “Root-seeking Summer Camp” in China organized by Overseas Chinese Affairs Office for overseas Chinese students over 12 years of age. Next year we will continue to form teams to participate in the camps. The seminar on Sunday 12/3 9:15am – 10:15am have invited the previous summer camp leaders and campers to introduce the camp programs and talk about their experiences. All parents are welcome!

Just to toss into the mix of the upcoming holiday season excitement, the Speech Contest will be held on 12/3/2017 at 1:30pm. Parents of candidates please clear your child’s schedule for that afternoon as it will last two to three hours. Top 4 winners from grade 1,2,3 will join the Regional Final (华夏总校决赛) .

假日购物季已经到了，每个家庭都已经开始准备大大采购一番。请各位爸爸妈妈在购物的时候，用一分钟，为学校做一些贡献。
上周介绍的跑步到学校的家长，经过学校通讯组的了解，确实是每周日从康州跑步的SUNY Purchase校园。通讯组已经获得该家长的照片，下期刊登，跑步爱好者们一起认识一下，相互切磋。我们的学校不仅是孩子们学习中文的地方，也是家长们交友，锻炼的场所。
SUNY Purchase校方不允许在教学楼内玩Scooter，动静大而且危险，容易撞到人和学校的东西，请家长督促孩子不要在教学楼里玩Scooter。
Parking : 请注意，我们中文学校的停车场是West 2 (W2)，请大家把车都停到指定的W2停车场。SUNY Purchase的校警发现有我们的家长把车停在其它停车场，已经给中文学校数次提醒，我们也给家长们多次提醒。如果发现不按照规定停车，校警可能会开罚单。请各位家长配合。
